Provide Information/Prepare for Market
Based on our initial visit, I will provide you with a BPO/CMA with an honest opinion of what I view as the market price for the property. Additionally, I will provide property specific recommendations as to how to market your home (marketing campaign) as well as frank recommendations as to ways that we might improve your home’s resale value prior to putting the property on the market. It’s not enough to enter the property into the MLS system and place a sign in the yard and a lockbox on the door – at least if you want to get the most for your home. The majority of buyers for your home will come through within the first 30 days, if the property is priced fairly and competitively, and so the effort in preparing your home for market prior to placing it on the market has as much impact, if not more, than any efforts to market the property after the initial list date.
